Hello Loyal Readers! If you are reading this blog then you have been checking it for a long time in my absence. I have been really, really busy lately. I had a super busy semester and I am just now recovering. I am leaving tomorrow to go to Arizona for the week. I will try to update more while I am hanging out in the hotness.
Meanwhile, here are some little tiny tidbits from my life lately:
1. I had a TAship that was time and a half this semester. That means I was busy teaching.
2. I successfully proposed my dissertation this semester. I had to write up a prospectus and defend it to my committee. But now, I only have one more defense to go. This time next year, it's Dr. Rose all the way!
3. Zach and I went to Des Moines last weekend. I have pictures. I've even uploaded them to the computer. I will work on getting them up here ASAP (by which I mean, at least a week and a half from now).
There's more, but it's just so tiring to tell now. I'm going to go take a shower because, yes, that's right, I think I smell a bit. I cooked, cleaned, packed and prepped all day today. So excuse me. It was probably about 80 today and we didn't have the air conditioning on and I cooked for about 4 hours and did all the dishes. So I got hot. Why am I defending myself to you? Ok, wish me luck for flying tomorrow. I hate flying. But it's a non-stop flight so that should be awesome. Well, they do stop, they stop at the end. I'm looking forward to it.
